The Agricultural and Orchard Experimental Farm Przybroda is one of the ten Agricultural Experimental Units of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań.

R-SGD Przybroda is located 25 km from Poznań, on the Poznań - Szamotuły route. The total area of ​​the farm is 490 ha, including 400 ha of arable land and 48 ha of orchard plantings.

The farm is multidirectional and includes agricultural, livestock and orchard production, as well as a functioning agricultural biogas station.

Agricultural production is focused on the cultivation of commercial cereals, industrial plants and the production of roughage for its own livestock.

Livestock production focuses primarily on the breeding of black and white dairy cattle.

On the other hand, orchard production is based mainly on the planting of apple trees and also includes almost all species of fruit trees and shrubs grown in our climate zone.

R-SGD Przybroda has been a Demonstration Farm of the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Center since 2012

The farm is the University's base in the field of scientific and research work and didactic activity. The specificity of the Agricultural and Fruit Experimental Farm Przybroda makes it possible to organize conferences, trainings, practical demonstrations and seminars for producers, field advisers from institutions related to agriculture, students and teachers of gardening schools, as well as gardeners from the Wielkopolska region.

R-SGD Przybroda represents its achievements and promotes the University of Life Sciences in Poznań at various specialized fairs and exhibitions organized in Poznań and in Greater Poland.

Agri-Orchard Experimental Farm Przybroda is known and associated primarily with the sale of the highest quality fruit. Its assortment includes many species and varieties, including: cherries, plums, peaches, nectarines, apricots, blueberries, apples (approx. 60 varieties) and pears.

Every year R-SGD Przybroda obtains an integrated production certificate and sells healthy and very tasty fruit through its own network of "Czerwony Jabłuszko" points of sale.

To ensure the highest quality of fruit at R-SGD Przybroda, from harvesting, through storage, to sale; the HACCP system has been implemented, consisting in the continuous control of the conditions in which the fruit is found.

The farm in Przybród is trying to successively develop and improve the conditions of selling fruit, enrich the assortment by introducing new species and varieties.
