The academic choir Coro Da Camera of the Poznań University of Life Sciences was established in 1993 on the initiative of the present conductor Barbara Dąbrowska-Silska. Initially, the choir functioned as an association, and then it was under the patronage of the Agricultural Academy. Members of the choir include students and graduates of the University of Life Sciences and other higher education institutions in Poznań.
The choir's repertoire includes a variety of styles and musical forms - ranging from early to contemporary music, from classics to more entertaining, lighter songs.

Coro Da Camera regularly appears at academic ceremonies held at the University of Life Sciences. Moreover, the choir is actively engaged in concerts held in Poznań. Throughout its history the choir has participated in numerous cultural events in Poznań (events such as Old Town Concertos, Academic Choir Meetings, Poznań Bethlehem, various concerts organized by the Polish Association of Choirs and Orchestras, charity concerts for the Greater Poland Cancer Center, concerts in the Music at the Lubrański Academy series).

In 2013 the choir celebrated 20th anniversary of its artistic activity. On this occasion, the choir performed, in cooperation with the Baroque Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Poznan, Magnificat in G minor by Antonio Vivaldi and also released a commemorative album containing mentioned masterpiece.

The choir has also participated in many festivals and competitions both in Poland and abroad, where the choir was often successful and proudly represented Polish musical culture and its Alma Mater.

• F. Mendelssohn International Choir Competition in Dautphetal, Germany (Silver Diploma, 1996)
• Crystalex Chor 97 International Choir Competition, Nový Bor, Czech Republic (Silver Diploma and the Special Prize for the best performance of the compulsory piece)
• 12th International Stasis Šimkus Choir Competition in Klaipeda, Lithuania (1999)
• 4th Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival, Alto Adige, Italy (2001)
• Premiere performance of a cycle of folk songs by Andrzej Hundziak, Poznań (2002)
• International Festival of Romantic Music in Vlachovo Brzezi, Czech Republic (2003)
• Presentation of Polish Christmas culture at the Sternen Markt event, Potsdam, Germany (2006)
• Concerts with the International Grundtvig Orchestra in St. John's Church in Vilnius, as part of the Let's Play Together project (2011)
• 6th International G. G. Gorczycki Chełmno Choral Meetings in Chełmno, second place (2011)
• 6th Festival of Academic Choirs Academic carols in Bydgoszcz (2014)
• 8th National Review of Sacral Song Vox Domini in Prusice, third place (2014)
