NEW CONCEPT OF YIELD COMPONENT ANALYSIS

The paper contains considerations on investigations on an influence of multiple characters developing at the same time (i.e. co-related) on their product. In agronomy such problem is calles a “Yield Component Analysis”. A new approach to the question is presented and two different forms of estimators are compared using simulation studies. Afterwards, recommendations regarding the appropiate (although biased) estimators of the influence of the components on the yield are given.
